Description

Almond Crescent Cookies are buttery, melt-in-your-mouth cookies made with almond flour and powdered sugar, perfect for holidays or cozy treats. These delicate almond cookies are easy to make and stay fresh for days, making them ideal for gifting or enjoying with coffee or tea.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup almond flour or finely ground blanched almonds

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup extra powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

1. Cream the softened unsalted butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.

2. Mix in the vanilla extract until combined.

3. Add the almond flour and salt, stirring until fully incorporated.

4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.

5. Roll about a tablespoon of dough into a log and shape it into a crescent.

6. Place the shaped cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

7. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 15 to 18 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.

8. Let cookies cool slightly, then gently roll in powdered sugar while still warm.

9. Let cool completely before storing or serving.

Notes

These cookies are best dusted with powdered sugar while still warm.

Make sure not to overbake to preserve their delicate texture.

Using blanched almond flour helps create a smoother cookie.
