Description

A bold and flavorful twist on traditional pasta, this Asian-Style Ground Beef Spaghetti recipe blends savory soy, sesame, and garlic with tender beef and noodles for a quick, one-pan meal. Ideal for easy weeknight dinners or leftover-friendly lunches. Perfect Asian-inspired pasta recipe!

Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti noodles

1 lb ground beef

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

1 medium carrot, julienned

2 green onions, sliced

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon olive oil

1⁄4 cup water or beef broth

Optional sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

1. Boil the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

2. Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

4. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Drain excess fat.

5. Stir in carrots and red bell pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until just tender.

6. Pour in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, crushed red pepper flakes, and beef broth or water. Mix well.

7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything to combine.

8. Let cook for another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and clings to the pasta.

9. Top with green onions and optional sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Add extra chili flakes for more heat if you love spice.

Swap in ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.

This dish is even better the next day after the flavors meld.
