Ingredients
1 rack baby back ribs
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
Instructions
1. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to make a dry rub.
3. Rub the mixture thoroughly over both sides of the ribs.
4. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
5. Bake at 275°F (135°C) for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
6. Carefully remove the ribs from foil and brush with BBQ sauce mixed with apple cider vinegar and liquid smoke.
7. Broil for 5-7 minutes until sauce is bubbling and caramelized.
8. Let ribs rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
