Description

Creamy, satisfying, and quick to make, this beef and bowtie pasta with Alfredo sauce recipe combines rich ground beef, tender farfalle pasta, and a velvety Parmesan Alfredo sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings, it’s a comfort food favorite with pantry-friendly ingredients.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)

2 cups Alfredo sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, diced

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until fragrant and the onions soften. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

4. Reduce heat to low and pour in the Alfredo sauce. Stir to coat the beef evenly and simmer for 5 minutes. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss gently. Sprinkle Parmesan over the top and stir until melted and incorporated. Serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and smooth melting.

Add steamed broccoli or sautéed mushrooms for extra nutrition and texture.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat with a splash of cream.
