Description

This Best Homemade Alfredo Sauce recipe is rich, creamy, and made from scratch with heavy cream, garlic, and fresh parmesan. A quick and easy Alfredo sauce perfect for pasta, chicken, and low-carb dishes.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it begins to foam.

2. Add minced garlic and stir for 1 minute until fragrant, making sure it doesn’t brown.

3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring occasionally.

4. Lower the heat and slowly stir in the grated parmesan cheese until it fully melts and the sauce thickens.

5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

6. Serve immediately over pasta, grilled chicken, or vegetables while still hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for best melting and flavor.

Do not boil the sauce to prevent it from separating.

Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating to maintain creaminess.
