Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 pound breakfast sausage
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups milk
4 large eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a sheet pan or skillet. Press biscuit dough into the base to form a crust. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
2. In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Sprinkle in flour and stir to coat.
3. Gradually add milk, stirring until gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
4. In another pan, scramble eggs until just set. Keep them soft to finish baking in the oven.
5. Spread sausage gravy over baked biscuit crust. Add scrambled eggs and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
6. Return to oven and bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
7. Remove from oven, slice, and serve hot. Enjoy!
Notes
This recipe can be frozen in slices for future breakfasts.
Use hot sausage for extra spice or turkey sausage for a lighter option.
