Description

This Bloody Spaghetti with Mozzarella Eyeballs is a spooky Halloween dinner idea made with spaghetti, marinara sauce, and mozzarella “eyeballs” using black olives. Perfect for Halloween parties or themed family nights, this festive pasta dish is creepy, delicious, and easy to make.

Ingredients

400g spaghetti

2 cups marinara sauce

16 mini mozzarella balls

8 black olives

1/2 cup reserved pasta water

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water and then drain.

2. In a large skillet, heat marinara sauce over medium heat. Add reserved pasta water to thin the sauce slightly.

3. Add the drained spaghetti to the sauce. Toss well until fully coated. Drizzle olive oil and mix again.

4. Place mini mozzarella balls on a plate and gently press a slice of black olive into the center of each to create an eyeball effect.

5. Plate the spaghetti and top with mozzarella eyeballs just before serving for maximum spooky impact.

Notes

Serve immediately to keep the mozzarella eyeballs looking fresh.

Use homemade marinara sauce for a richer, more customized flavor.

Add red food coloring for a more vivid bloody effect if desired.
