Description

This Bobby Flay Chicken Thighs with Creamy Garlic Sauce recipe features golden-seared chicken thighs simmered in a rich garlic cream sauce. A comforting, restaurant-style meal perfect for weeknights or guests. Great with mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread. A must-try for garlic lovers and fans of easy chicken dinners.

Ingredients

4 chicken thighs, skin-on, boneless

6 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup dry white wine

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or thyme (optional)

Instructions

1. Pat chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter with olive oil.

3. Add chicken thighs skin-side down and sear for 6–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. Reduce heat to medium, add minced garlic to the skillet, and stir for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

5. Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom. Let simmer for 1 minute.

6. Add chicken broth and Dijon mustard, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

7. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

8. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over thighs, and simmer together for 2–3 minutes.

9. Garnish with chopped parsley or thyme and serve hot.

Notes

Use skin-on chicken thighs for extra flavor and crispness.

Don’t brown the garlic too long or it’ll turn bitter.

Deglazing with wine adds depth to the sauce—don’t skip this step.
