Description

Bold & Buttery Cuban Garlic Bread Sandwiches are loaded with flavor from garlicky toasted bread, savory ham and roast pork, melty Swiss cheese, and zesty pickles. A crispy Cuban sandwich twist that’s perfect for lunch, dinner, or your next party spread. This bold sandwich recipe is easy to bake and packed with comforting, cheesy layers.

Ingredients

4 soft hoagie rolls or 1 loaf Cuban bread

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

3 garlic cloves, minced

8 slices ham

8 slices roast pork

4 slices Swiss cheese

12 pickle slices

2 tablespoons yellow mustard

Instructions

1. Melt the butter and stir in the minced garlic. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

2. Slice the bread lengthwise and brush the garlic butter over the cut sides.

3. Broil the bread cut side up for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.

4. Spread mustard on one side of the bread.

5. Layer with ham, roast pork, pickles, and Swiss cheese.

6. Close the sandwiches and wrap each in foil.

7. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.

8. Serve hot and enjoy the crisp, buttery texture.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor.

Press sandwiches in a panini press for extra crunch.

Don’t skip the mustard—it gives that signature Cuban flavor.
