Description
Brie Bites with Cranberry Crunch are the ultimate easy appetizer for holidays and parties. Made with puff pastry, brie cheese, cranberry sauce, and crunchy nuts, these mini bites are flaky, creamy, sweet, and savory in every bite. Perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or entertaining year-round.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
6 oz brie cheese
1/2 cup cranberry sauce
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
2. Unroll puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 2×2 inch squares. Press each into a mini muffin cup.
3. Cut brie into small 3/4 inch cubes and place one cube into each pastry cup.
4. Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce over the brie.
5. Sprinkle chopped nuts and herbs (if using) on top.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until puff pastry is golden and brie is melted.
7. Cool slightly before removing from the tin. Serve warm.
Notes
Let the puff pastry thaw in the fridge, not at room temperature, to prevent it from becoming sticky.
Don’t remove the rind from the brie—it adds flavor and melts well.
You can prepare these a few hours ahead and reheat before serving.
