Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Thaw the shrimp if frozen and pat dry completely with paper towels.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter with olive oil.
3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, just until fragrant.
4. Add the shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
5. Reduce heat to low, return all shrimp to the pan, and add the remaining 2 tbsp butter, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Toss well.
6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
