Description

Butter Garlic Shrimp is a quick and flavorful shrimp recipe made with juicy shrimp seared in a rich garlic butter sauce. Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Thaw the shrimp if frozen and pat dry completely with paper towels.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter with olive oil.

3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, just until fragrant.

4. Add the shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.

5. Reduce heat to low, return all shrimp to the pan, and add the remaining 2 tbsp butter, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Toss well.

6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use raw shrimp for best texture and flavor.

Do not overcook the shrimp—they cook very quickly.
