Description

Cajun Chicken Spaghetti in Creamy Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a comforting, spicy, and cheesy pasta dish perfect for weeknights. Featuring Cajun-seasoned chicken, garlic, heavy cream, and gooey mozzarella, it’s the ultimate one-pan meal. This creamy chicken spaghetti is easy to make and packed with flavor, making it an ideal dinner idea for pasta lovers craving bold Southern taste with an Italian twist.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

8 oz spaghetti

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Slice chicken breasts into thin strips and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. In a separate pot, boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

4. In the same skillet used for chicken, reduce heat and add butter. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

6. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Mix until sauce is creamy and smooth. Add reserved pasta water if needed to thin.

7. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in cooked spaghetti. Stir to coat everything evenly.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

This recipe makes enough to serve four.

For a lighter option, substitute half and half for heavy cream.

Add sautéed bell peppers or mushrooms for extra texture and flavor.
