Ingredients
350 g linguine
400 g beef strips
4 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
2. Pat beef strips dry, season with salt, pepper, and half the Cajun seasoning.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef strips for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. Lower heat to medium, add butter, and melt. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning.
5. Toss linguine in the garlic butter sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
6. Return beef to the skillet, gently mixing to combine.
7. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Use a splash of pasta water to help the sauce cling to the linguine.
Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
Avoid overcooking the beef; a quick sear keeps it juicy.
