This cheesy Alfredo linguine with golden garlic butter chicken is a rich, creamy pasta dish made with tender chicken, Parmesan, mozzarella, and silky Alfredo sauce. A comforting family dinner recipe perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
400g linguine
2 large chicken breasts, diced
3 tablespoons butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and half the butter over medium-high heat. Add seasoned chicken pieces and cook until golden and fully cooked.
3. Add garlic and the remaining butter to the skillet. Sauté until fragrant.
4. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted into a smooth sauce.
5. Add cooked linguine and toss gently to coat in the sauce. Simmer for 1–2 minutes to blend flavors.
6. Serve topped with golden garlic butter chicken. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese if desired.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melt and flavor.
Reserve pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
For a spicier twist, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
