Description

Cheesy Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Parmesan Chicken is the ultimate comfort food dinner. This easy weeknight pasta recipe features tender bowtie noodles in a creamy cheese sauce topped with golden garlic parmesan chicken. Perfect for family meals or cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

340g bowtie pasta

2 large chicken breasts

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Boil bowtie pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Slice chicken breasts horizontally to create thinner cutlets. Season both sides with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and let rest.

4. In the same skillet, add more butter if needed. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir in cheddar and mozzarella, then parmesan. Mix until melted and smooth.

5. Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir to coat evenly. Adjust seasoning as needed.

6. Slice chicken and lay over pasta. Garnish with extra parmesan and parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor and texture.

Make sure the pasta is al dente to avoid mushiness.

Resting the chicken ensures it stays juicy when sliced.
