Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook bowtie pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat.
3. Stir in Cajun seasoning and minced garlic; cook for another 2–3 minutes.
4. Reduce heat and add butter and cream cheese, stirring until melted.
5. Pour in the heavy cream, then stir in cheddar and parmesan until smooth and creamy.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat.
7. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
8. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for the smoothest sauce.
Adjust Cajun seasoning based on your heat preference.
Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating leftovers.
