Description

This Cheesy Garlic Butter Chicken Bowties with Mozzarella Cream Sauce is a creamy, comforting chicken pasta recipe perfect for weeknight dinners. Made with tender chicken breast, bowtie pasta, and a rich mozzarella cream sauce, it’s a family favorite and great for leftovers.


Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta

2 chicken breasts, diced

2 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.

2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and fully done. Remove from pan and set aside.

3. In the same pan, melt more butter and add garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

4. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer. Gradually add mozzarella, stirring constantly until fully melted and creamy.

5. Return chicken to the pan and add pasta. Toss everything together, adding pasta water as needed for creaminess.

6. Serve hot, garnished with extra mozzarella or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

This recipe is best served fresh, but leftovers reheat well.

Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for a flavorful twist.

Use freshly shredded mozzarella for the smoothest sauce texture.
