Description

Crispy Chicken Bites are quick to make, full of bold flavor, and perfect for weeknight dinners or party appetizers. These tender chicken nuggets are lightly breaded and fried to golden perfection. Ideal for pairing with sauces, pasta, or salads.

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast

1 cup buttermilk

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup cornstarch

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Oil for frying

Instructions

1. Cut chicken into 1.5-inch bite-sized pieces.

2. In a bowl, combine chicken and buttermilk. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

3. Mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl.

4. Dredge each chicken piece in the flour mixture until fully coated.

5. Heat oil in a skillet to 350°F.

6. Fry chicken in batches for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through.

7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for juicier bites.

For a healthier option, cook in an air fryer at 400°F for 12–14 minutes.

Don’t overcrowd the pan while frying—cook in batches.
