Description

This Cinnamon Apple Bread is a moist and tender quick bread loaded with fresh apples, cinnamon sugar swirls, and a golden crust. Perfect for cozy breakfasts or afternoon treats, it’s a fall-inspired loaf that’s easy to make and delicious to share. Ideal for breakfast breads, apple dessert recipes, and fall baking favorites.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

½ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar

2 large eggs

½ cup milk

½ cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups chopped apples

2 tablespoons brown sugar (for swirl)

1 teaspoon cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.

3. In another large bowl, whisk eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

5. Fold in the chopped apples gently until evenly distributed.

6. In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon for the swirl.

7. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half the cinnamon sugar swirl. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the swirl.

8. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with moist crumbs.

9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

10. Slice and enjoy warm, room temperature, or toasted.

Notes

Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for the best texture.

Do not overmix the batter to keep the bread light and fluffy.

For extra crunch, add chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter.
