Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups oil for frying (optional)
Instructions
1. Open the biscuit can and separate the dough. Cut each biscuit into quarters to create bite-sized pieces.
2. If frying, heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. If baking, preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
3. Fry the biscuit pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels. If baking, arrange on tray and bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed and lightly golden.
4. While still warm, brush each piece with melted butter. In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar. Toss biscuit bites in the mixture until fully coated.
5. Serve warm and optionally with a cream cheese or vanilla glaze for dipping.
Notes
Brush while warm so the sugar sticks well.
Frying gives a crispier texture; baking keeps it lighter.
Best eaten fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
