Description

Cozy Hot Chocolate Cheesecake Bars combine the nostalgic flavor of hot cocoa with rich cheesecake, perfect for winter gatherings. This hot chocolate dessert bar recipe is creamy, chocolatey, and topped with gooey marshmallows—easy to make and loved by all.


Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

½ cup hot chocolate mix, divided

16 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup sour cream

1 cup mini marshmallows


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of hot chocolate mix. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 8–10 minutes.

3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

5. Mix in vanilla extract, sour cream, and remaining hot chocolate mix until fully combined.

6. Fold in mini marshmallows gently with a spatula.

7. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the warm crust and smooth out the top.

8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are set but the center is slightly wobbly.

9. Let bars cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

10. Slice into squares and top with additional marshmallows or chocolate drizzle if desired.

Notes

Use a rich hot chocolate mix for deeper flavor.
