Cranberry Brie Bites are an easy appetizer made with flaky puff pastry, creamy brie cheese, and sweet tart cranberry sauce. Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry
8 oz brie cheese
1/2 cup cranberry sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 egg beaten
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
2. Roll out puff pastry slightly and cut into small squares that fit into muffin cups.
3. Press pastry squares gently into each cup forming a shell.
4. Cut brie into small cubes and place one cube in each pastry cup.
5. Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce over each piece of brie.
6. Brush pastry edges lightly with beaten egg.
7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until pastry is golden and cheese is melted.
8. Remove from oven and drizzle lightly with honey.
9. Sprinkle fresh thyme over the top and serve warm.
Notes
Use cold puff pastry so it holds shape better while baking.
Do not overfill with cranberry sauce to prevent soggy pastry.
Serve warm for best texture and flavor.
