Ingredients

400g spaghetti

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup reserved pasta water

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Fill a large pot with water, salt generously, and bring to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the cream cheese until fully melted. Simmer 3-4 minutes to thicken.

4. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper until the sauce is smooth and well combined.

5. Add the drained spaghetti to the sauce. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water a bit at a time to reach the desired consistency.

6. Plate and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
