Description
This creamy Cajun beef spaghetti with three-cheese parmesan sauce is a spicy, indulgent pasta dish loaded with ground beef, Cajun flavors, and a rich blend of mozzarella, parmesan, and cream cheese. It’s the perfect comfort food for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
12 ounces spaghetti
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
4 ounces cream cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
4. Reduce heat and stir in cream cheese until melted. Pour in heavy cream and stir in mozzarella and parmesan. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add reserved pasta water as needed to thin.
5. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Use freshly grated cheeses for a smoother sauce.
Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste if you’re spice-sensitive.
Reheat leftovers with a splash of milk or cream to keep the sauce creamy.
