Description
Creamy Cajun Butter Tender Steak Pasta Skillet is a one-pan dinner bursting with bold Cajun flavors, juicy seared steak, and a rich, velvety cream sauce. Perfect for weeknight indulgence or entertaining guests, this steak pasta recipe is quick, satisfying, and full of spice.
Ingredients
1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or linguine)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear the steak on both sides until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let it rest.
2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water before draining.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
4. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in Cajun seasoning and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss until well coated, adding reserved pasta water if the sauce needs thinning.
6. Slice the rested steak into strips. Return to skillet and gently toss with the pasta and sauce.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Make sure to let the steak rest before slicing to retain juices.
Adjust Cajun seasoning to your heat preference.
Use freshly grated Parmesan for a creamier finish.
