Description

This creamy Cajun chicken twisted pasta with mozzarella Alfredo is a bold, comforting dinner recipe made with tender chicken, spicy Cajun seasoning, and a rich, cheesy Alfredo sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends, it’s the ultimate creamy chicken pasta recipe with a spicy twist.

Ingredients

225g twisted pasta

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season generously with Cajun seasoning.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sear the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside.

3. In a separate pot, boil twisted pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

4. In the same skillet used for chicken, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.

6. Add cooked pasta into the sauce and toss well. Use the reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.

7. Return the chicken to the pan and mix everything together until evenly coated.

8. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and Cajun seasoning if desired.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for a smoother sauce.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.

For a veggie twist, stir in spinach or sautéed peppers.
