Description

This Creamy Cajun Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Beef Strips is a bold and comforting pasta recipe made with tender seared steak, a velvety garlic butter cream sauce, and rich Cajun seasoning. A quick and flavorful dinner that’s perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends.

Ingredients

400g spaghetti

300g sirloin steak or flank steak

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.

2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season beef strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3. Sear beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

5. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer gently for 3–5 minutes.

6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and an extra pinch of Cajun seasoning.

7. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce. Use reserved pasta water to loosen if needed.

8. Return beef strips to skillet, combine with pasta, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melt and flavor.

Don’t overcook the steak—medium rare to medium keeps it juicy.

Adjust Cajun spice level based on your preference for heat.
