Description

Creamy Chicken Tortellini with Spinach and Garlic Parmesan Cheese is a rich and comforting one-pan pasta dinner made with cheese tortellini, juicy chicken, fresh spinach, and a homemade garlic Parmesan cream sauce. A perfect easy dinner idea that’s ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

9 oz cheese tortellini

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cups fresh spinach

1 cup heavy cream

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer while stirring.

5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until the sauce thickens.

6. Add uncooked cheese tortellini to the sauce and let simmer until tender.

7. Stir in the fresh spinach until wilted.

8. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and mix everything together.

9. Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top.

Notes

This dish is best served fresh while the sauce is creamy and the tortellini are tender.

Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating to loosen the sauce.

Fresh tortellini works best, but frozen can be used with slightly adjusted cooking time.
