Description

Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine in Alfredo Sauce is a rich and satisfying pasta dinner made with tender chicken breasts, a luscious garlic butter Alfredo sauce, and linguine. This comforting one-skillet meal is perfect for weeknights or special occasions and features classic Italian flavors in every bite. Great for pasta lovers and chicken Alfredo fans alike.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

12 ounces linguine pasta

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet.

3. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain pasta.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and whisk until smooth.

6. Use reserved pasta water to loosen sauce to your desired consistency.

7. Slice chicken into strips and return to skillet. Add cooked linguine and toss everything gently until well coated.

8. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan. Serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best texture and flavor.

Add spinach or mushrooms for an extra layer of flavor.

Reserve pasta water before draining — it helps emulsify the sauce.
