Description

Creamy Ground Beef Bowtie Pasta with Mozzarella and Parmesan is the ultimate weeknight dinner. Made with ground beef, farfalle pasta, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese in a rich, creamy sauce, this easy pasta recipe is perfect for family meals. Comforting, cheesy, and ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

12 ounces bowtie pasta

1 small yellow onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 (15-ounce) can crushed tomatoes

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat if necessary.

2. Add chopped onion to the skillet. Cook for 3 minutes until softened. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes to blend the flavors.

4. Lower the heat and add heavy cream. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

5. Meanwhile, cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Mix in mozzarella and parmesan until melted and creamy.

7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

This dish is great for meal prep—leftovers keep well.

Use penne, rotini, or elbow pasta if bowties aren’t available.

Add red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
