Ingredients
12 oz rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rotini until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef while breaking it up. Drain the excess fat.
3. Season the cooked beef with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Lower the heat and add Velveeta cheese and heavy cream to the skillet. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
5. Add the drained rotini to the skillet and mix until pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce.
6. Sprinkle mozzarella on top, cover the skillet, and let it melt for a few minutes until gooey.
7. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
Notes
Use freshly grated mozzarella for best melting quality.
Adjust Cajun seasoning to your heat preference.
Leftovers reheat best with a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
