Description

Creamy Velveeta Chicken Penne in Garlic Butter Parmesan Sauce is a rich, cheesy pasta dish perfect for family dinners. This easy chicken penne recipe features Velveeta, garlic butter, and Parmesan in a creamy sauce. Great for quick weeknight meals or comfort food cravings.


Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs

8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 garlic cloves, minced

4 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy cream

1 tbsp olive oil

to taste salt

to taste black pepper


Instructions

1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the penne until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving half a cup of pasta water.

2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

4. Add heavy cream and Velveeta cubes, stirring until melted and smooth.

5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.

6. Return the cooked penne and chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat. Add pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

7. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Use thighs for extra flavor and tenderness.

Add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.

This recipe is best served fresh; reheat with added cream or milk.
