Description

This Easy Creamy Velveeta Chicken Bowtie Pasta with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a rich, cheesy comfort food that blends tender chicken, garlicky mozzarella sauce, and creamy Velveeta cheese. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, this chicken bowtie pasta is fast, family-friendly, and full of flavor.


Ingredients

2 cups bowtie pasta

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 ½ cups Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet with olive oil, cook the chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and rest before slicing.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer gently.

4. Stir in the Velveeta cheese and melt until smooth. Add shredded mozzarella and mix until fully melted into the sauce.

5. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken into the skillet. Toss everything to coat evenly.

6. Serve hot with optional parsley or extra mozzarella on top.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic for best flavor.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of milk or cream.

Try swapping bowtie pasta with rotini or penne if preferred.
