Description

Creamy Velveeta Penne Pasta with Cajun Beef Alfredo Sauce is the ultimate comfort food with a kick. This cheesy Cajun pasta dish blends ground beef, Velveeta cheese, and bold spices into a creamy, satisfying meal that’s perfect for weeknights or family dinners. A must-try pasta recipe for spice lovers and creamy sauce fans alike.

Ingredients

16 oz penne pasta

1 lb ground beef

8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup heavy cream

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Season with a little salt and pepper. Remove from skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, sauté the garlic until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

4. Add the Velveeta cubes to the cream and stir until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.

5. Add Cajun seasoning to the sauce and adjust with salt and pepper to taste.

6. Return the browned beef to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.

7. Add the cooked penne to the skillet and toss everything together over low heat until the pasta is evenly coated.

8. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated garlic for best flavor.

Don’t overcook the pasta—keep it al dente to absorb the sauce without becoming mushy.

If the sauce thickens too much upon reheating, add a splash of milk or cream.
