Ingredients
2 large sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into 1-inch cubes, keeping the pieces uniform for even roasting.
2. Toss the cubes in a large bowl with cornstarch until they are evenly coated.
3. Drizzle in olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
4. Spread the cubes on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
5. Roast in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
6. Remove from oven and serve hot.
Notes
Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and promote browning.
Don’t overcrowd the pan—space allows them to crisp.
Flip halfway for even caramelization on both sides.
