Description

This Crockpot Cheesy Chicken recipe is an easy, creamy, and comforting slow cooker meal perfect for busy weeknights. Featuring tender chicken, melty cheddar, and a rich sauce, it’s the ultimate family-friendly dinner.


Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 oz cream cheese softened

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Lightly grease your crockpot with cooking spray or butter. Place chicken breasts in an even layer at the bottom.

2. In a bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and pour over chicken.

3. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender.

4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken during the last 15–20 minutes of cooking. Cover to let it melt.

5. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Use good quality cheddar cheese for best flavor and melt.

Add a splash of milk if reheating leftovers and sauce has thickened.

You can substitute chicken thighs if you prefer darker meat.
