Description

This air fryer honey mustard salmon recipe is a quick and healthy weeknight dinner that combines the rich flavor of salmon with a sweet and tangy honey mustard glaze. Perfectly cooked in under 15 minutes, it’s gluten-free, low-carb, and bursting with bold, balanced flavors. Great for meal prep or a family dinner.

Ingredients

2 salmon fillets

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.

2. In a small bowl, mix the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

3. Brush the glaze generously over the top of each salmon fillet, avoiding the skin side.

4. Place the fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized.

5. Serve hot with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and your favorite side dish.

Notes

Pat the salmon completely dry to help the glaze stick.

Use even-thickness fillets for uniform cooking.

You can add a pinch of smoked paprika or a touch of fresh dill for variation.
