Description

This Delicious Cuban Sandwich Cubano recipe combines tender roast pork, sweet ham, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and mustard, pressed between crispy Cuban bread. Ingredients

1 loaf Cuban bread

1/2 lb roast pork, sliced

1/2 lb sliced ham

6 slices Swiss cheese

1/2 cup dill pickle slices

2 tbsp yellow mustard

2 tbsp butter, softened


Instructions

1. Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise and spread yellow mustard on both inner sides.

2. Layer ham, roast pork, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles inside the bread.

3. Close the sandwich and press it lightly. Butter the outside of the bread.

4. Grill the sandwich in a panini press or skillet with weight on top for 4–5 minutes per side until crispy and golden.

5. Remove from heat and let rest briefly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use sweet or honey-glazed ham for extra flavor.

Traditional Cuban bread is ideal, but Italian or French bread works too.

For best results, reheat leftovers in a skillet or toaster oven.
