Ingredients
1 wheel brie cheese
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
3 tablespoons cranberry sauce
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Let puff pastry thaw until just pliable.
2. Place puff pastry on the baking sheet and set the wheel of brie in the center.
3. Spoon cranberry sauce on top of the brie, then sprinkle with chopped pecans and drizzle with maple syrup.
4. Fold the corners of the puff pastry over the brie, trimming any excess and sealing the edges. Flip the wrapped brie over for a smooth top.
5. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg to give it a glossy, golden finish.
6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until puff pastry is golden and crisp.
7. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set slightly.
Notes
Serve warm for the best gooey texture.
To reheat leftovers, bake in a 300°F oven for about 10 minutes.
Pairs beautifully with apple slices, crackers, or toasted baguette.
