Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, diced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

2 cups chicken broth

8 oz pasta of choice

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Season diced chicken breast with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.

4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.

5. Add the uncooked pasta directly into the skillet. Cook in the sauce, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.

6. Stir in cooked chicken and grated parmesan cheese. Let it cook for 2–3 more minutes until sauce thickens.

7. Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with fresh parsley and more cheese if desired.

8. Serve hot and creamy right out of the skillet.

Notes

Use freshly grated parmesan for the smoothest melt.

Add baby spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for variety.

Reheat leftovers with a splash of milk or broth to loosen the sauce.
