Description

This easy hot cream cheese chili dip recipe is the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer. Made with cream cheese, canned chili, and melted cheddar, it’s the perfect hot dip for game day, parties, or cozy nights in. Serve with chips or crackers for a cheesy, spicy snack everyone loves.

Ingredients

1 block cream cheese (8 oz)

1 can chili (15 oz)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)

Tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette (for serving)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

2. Spread the cream cheese evenly across the bottom of your baking dish. Soften in the microwave if needed for easier spreading.

3. Pour the chili over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.

4. Top with shredded cheddar cheese in a thick, even layer.

5. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil for 2 minutes if you’d like a golden top.

6. Remove from oven, let it sit for a minute, then top with chopped green onions if using. Serve hot with your favorite dippers.

Notes

Let the cream cheese come to room temperature for easier spreading.

Use thick, hearty chips or bread to scoop the dip—it’s rich and gooey.

If using homemade chili, make sure it’s thick so it doesn’t water down the dip.
