Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
12 ounces rotini pasta
2 cups beef broth
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons ketchup (optional)
Instructions
1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and ketchup if using.
3. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a gentle boil.
4. Add the uncooked rotini pasta. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
5. Reduce heat to low. Stir in the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted and sauce is creamy.
6. Serve immediately while hot. Add optional toppings like parsley or extra cheese if desired.
Notes
This dish tastes best fresh but reheats well with a splash of milk.
You can add cooked bacon or pickles for extra cheeseburger flavor.
Swap rotini for penne or shells depending on what pasta you have.
