Description

Easy Marry Me Chicken is a creamy skillet chicken recipe made with tender chicken breasts in a sun-dried tomato Parmesan sauce. This easy one-pan chicken dinner is perfect for date nights or weeknight meals. Comfort food made fast!


Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs

½ cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil, chopped (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then lightly dredge in flour.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add sun-dried tomatoes and red pepper flakes.

4. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits.

5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer until slightly thickened.

6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for 8–10 minutes.

7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

This dish reheats beautifully with a splash of cream or broth.

Use thighs for extra juiciness, breasts for leaner flavor.

Pair with pasta or mashed potatoes to soak up the sauce.
