Description

A creamy and savory Easy Marry Me Sausage Pasta recipe made with Italian sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, heavy cream, and parmesan. This irresistible 30-minute dinner is perfect for date night or a cozy weeknight meal. Ideal comfort food with bold flavor and easy cleanup. Ingredients

1 lb pasta

1 lb Italian sausage

3 cloves garlic, minced

1⁄2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1⁄2 tsp salt

1⁄4 tsp black pepper

1⁄4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Crumble in sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Deglaze with a splash of chicken broth.

3. Add the rest of the broth and heavy cream. Stir in parmesan and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.

4. Add the cooked sausage and cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss until well coated in the sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

5. Serve hot, topped with fresh basil and extra parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use spicy or mild Italian sausage depending on your preference.

Add spinach or mushrooms for a veggie boost.

For a lighter version, use turkey or chicken sausage and reduced-fat cream.
