Ingredients
8 oz spaghetti
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup reserved pasta water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 3/4 cup of the pasta water before draining.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sautée the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter mixture.
4. Gradually sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese while stirring continuously, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time.
5. Stir and toss until the sauce becomes creamy and coats the pasta evenly.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
