Ingredients
1 ½ cups white chocolate chips
¼ cup eggnog
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon rum extract or vanilla extract
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 cup white chocolate coating or candy melts
Instructions
1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt white chocolate chips and butter together while stirring constantly.
2. Once smooth, add eggnog, nutmeg, and rum extract. Stir until fully combined.
3. Pour mixture into a shallow dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
4. Scoop the chilled mixture into balls and roll between your palms. Place on parchment-lined sheet.
5. Melt white chocolate coating or candy melts. Dip each truffle until coated, let excess drip off, and return to sheet.
6. Optionally, sprinkle with nutmeg or festive sprinkles.
7. Let truffles set at room temperature or chill briefly until firm.
Notes
Use high-quality white chocolate for best texture and flavor.
If mixture is too soft to roll, chill a bit longer.
Store in an airtight container in fridge up to 1 week, or freeze for longer storage.
