Description
This Fresh Strawberry Caprese Pasta Salad combines ripe strawberries, creamy mozzarella, fresh basil, and pasta drizzled with balsamic glaze. A perfect summer pasta salad recipe that’s light, easy, and bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
250 g farfalle pasta
250 g fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
200 g mozzarella pearls
1 handful fresh basil leaves, torn
3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, rinse under cold water, and set aside.
2. While pasta cooks, prep the strawberries, basil, and mozzarella.
3. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, strawberries, mozzarella, and basil. Drizzle with olive oil and toss.
4. Just before serving, drizzle with balsamic glaze and season with salt and pepper. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
Use ripe, fragrant strawberries for the best flavor.
For a gluten-free option, substitute gluten-free pasta.
