60g unsalted butter
100g brown sugar
50g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
70g all-purpose flour
30g unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

2. In a large bowl, whisk the brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until slightly thickened and glossy.
3. Add the melted chocolate mixture and stir until fully combined.
4. Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until no streaks remain.
5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes.
6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
7. Scoop dough onto the sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until crackly on top and set around the edges.
9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
10. Serve warm or store in an airtight container.
Notes
Letting the dough rest in the fridge helps control spreading.
Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.
Add espresso powder or sea salt for a deeper flavor twist.
