Ingredients
1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or NY strip)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz twisted pasta (rotini or gemelli)
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Toss steak cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak pieces on all sides until browned and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Boil a pot of salted water. Cook pasta until al dente and reserve 1 cup of the pasta water. Drain.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes.
5. Pour in heavy cream and let simmer until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss with sauce, adding pasta water as needed to loosen.
7. Return steak bites to the skillet and mix gently. Let everything heat through.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use a well-marbled steak for extra flavor and tenderness.
Don’t overcook the steak to keep it juicy—aim for medium.
Adjust Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes to control spice level.
