Description

Grandma’s Classic Corn Pudding is a rich, creamy, and nostalgic side dish made with creamed corn, whole kernel corn, butter, and eggs. Perfect for holiday dinners, potlucks, or comforting weeknight meals, this Southern-style corn pudding recipe is sweet, savory, and easy to make from scratch.

Ingredients

2 cups whole kernel corn

1 can (15 oz) creamed corn

2 large eggs

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

3 tablespoons sugar

1 cup whole milk

1/4 cup melted butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.

3. Stir in the whole kernel corn and creamed corn until evenly combined.

4. Add the sugar, flour, and salt. Mix until everything is incorporated.

5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.

6. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is just set.

7. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving to firm up for easy slicing.

Notes

Let it sit before serving: This allows the custard to finish setting.

Sweetness tip: You can adjust sugar to taste, or omit for a fully savory version.

Add cheese: A sprinkle of cheddar on top gives it a nice golden crust.
